Autonomous innovative learning is the essence of education that is oriented to modernization, to the world, and to the future. It is the direction that the development of an educational culture should take in the 21 st century. The meaning of education lies in an incessant effort to exploit students＇ potentials and develop their creativity as well as to enable them to understand the meaning of life. Therefore, this paper discusses the motive mechanism of and the invariable criteria for autonomous innovative learning. Further, it elaborates on the modern educational and instructional cultural system and its components, emphasizing the irreplaceable role an educational culture plays in promoting autonomous innovative learning.
