构建社会主义和谐社会必须大力提倡国民团结,营造和谐关系,凝聚国民智慧,共同努力奋斗。要实现以加强民族团结为重要内容的国民团结,就要解决好认识问题的思想根基,处理好国民群体中民族间的差异,民族间的客观矛盾,社会转型期因利益调整形成落差的客观实际,全国与民族区域,少数民族群体与个体等几层关系;还要探索行之有效的工作方法,在谋划上体现全面推进、整体联动,在工作对象上分类施策,在方法上体现灵活性、多样化,在进度上适时适度。

In constructing a harmonious socialist society,we must strive to advocate national unity,create harmonious relation,assemble national wisdom and make joint effort.Intensifying unity between different nationalities as major component of national unity,we solve fundamental ideas and deal well with ethnic gap in national community and objective contradictions between ethnic groups.Besides,we must cope with the objective reality of gap formed as a result of interest restructure in social transition,handle properly the relation between ethnic-minority regions and rest of China,ethnic-minority communities and individuals and probe for feasible work method to take an overall plan into coordinated action,practice individualized policy for specific task,diversify and elasticize approach and schedule it timely and moderately.
