Preparation and application of chlorotoluene isomers were reviewed. The bottleneck problem during chlorotoluene production,separation of chlorotoluene was discussed. which is the bottleneck for developing the fine chemicals of chlorotoluene, is mainly discussed. As technology advances and continuous development of high efficient adsorbent, molecular sieve adsorption separation will be main development trend because of its high efficiency, energy saving, pollution-free.
