Humanists in Renaissance created abundant achievements in literature and art.Being the mainstream of cultural thoughts in Renaissance,such achievements were closely related to the poetic wit,which was highly recommended by humanists and was popular in the spheres of ideology and culture.That poetic wit with certain features of intuition,imagination and perfection etc.not only brings the benefit to the literature and art creation,but also to the mankind's comprehensive recognition of themselves.Therefore the historians should study poetic wit from the view of art history and historiography.
