做好地方志工作,苏州市在修志实践中总结出"八个一"的体会,即:1.建设一支"政治强、业务精、功底深、出手快"的修志队伍;2.培育"聚精会神、攻难克艰、日积月累、阶段成果"的方志精神;3.打造一种地方志作为地方历史文化基础和源头的竞争力;4.丰富老照片、志书大全之宝库;5.打造现代信息网站平台;6.团结一批热爱地方历史文化事业的志愿者;7.推出成果,形成既有权威性、资料性,又有时代性、可读性的系列读物;8.树立"围绕中心、服务中心"的意识。

To do a good work in local records,Suzhou City has summed up 'eight lessons' in its local records compilation practice,namely:1.Building a local records compilation team with 'acute political sense,strong professional abilities,deep background knowledge,and a quick hand';2.Nurturing a local records spirit of 'focusing attention,overcoming obstacles,accumulating strength,and making progress stage by stage';3.Building a kind of competitiveness with local records as a foundation and source of local history and culture;4.Enriching the treasure depot of old photos and local records collection;5.Building a web-based platform of modern information;6.Attracting a group of volunteers passionate about local history and culture causes;7.Producing results and serial publications that are authoritative,informative,current,and readable;8.Establishing the sense of 'Surrounding the focal point,and serve for the focal point'.
