Origins of "Two Rules Unswerving"

毫不动摇地巩固和发展公有制经济,毫不动摇地鼓励、支持和引导非公有制经济发展,简称"两个毫不动摇"。社会主义初级阶段的国情决定了我国既不能搞私有化,也不能搞单一的公有制,这就必须坚持公有制为主体多种所有制经济共同发展的基本经济制度,必须坚持"两个毫不动摇"的重大决策。这就是"两个毫不动摇"的由来。

Consolidating and developing public economy unswervingly and encouraging,supporting and guiding the development of non-public economy unswervingly is referred to as＂two rules unswerving＂for short.The national situation of China at the primary stage of socialism determines that China can neither follow private economy,nor can China follow the one-fold public system,which requires that China insist the basic economic system focused on public economy with co-existence of economy of various natures,following the decision of＂two rules unswerving＂.That is the origin of＂two rules unswerving＂.
