从功能对等角度谈儿童文学的翻译

Translation of Children's Literature under Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory

奈达运用交际学理论,把翻译视为是跨语言、跨文化的交际活动,其功能对等理论思想产生了世界性的深远影响,在对文学翻译、科技翻译等领域里都有重要的指导作用。这种以"读者反映论"为核心的翻译理论为儿童文学翻译批评提供了一个崭新的思路。作者就以《夏洛的网》汉译本为例,辅以奈达的功能对等理论指导,来探讨儿童文学的翻译,并通过功能对等理论中的意义、风格和文化三个方面的分析比较,从实践个案上来证明功能对等理论在指导儿童文学翻译上的实用性和适用性。

Based on the communicative perspective,Nida describs translation as an interlingual,cross cultural communicative activity.His Functional Equivalence Theory has a widespread influence in the world,and this theory still takes effect in the field of literary translation,science translation,etc.This translation theory,the core idea of which is reader-response criticism,proposes new research directions in future for the criticism of children＇s literature translation.This study is undertaken,based on the theory of Nida＇s Functional Equivalence,to make an analysis of the Chinese version of Charlotte＇s Web from the perspectives of meaning equivalence, stylistic equivalence and cultural equivalence;meanwhile,to discuss the translation of children＇s literature,in this practical case,so as to prove the practicability and the applicability of Nida＇s Functional Equivalence Theory in the translation of children＇s literature
