On Han Chinese Population in the Middle of the Qing Dynasty

清代汉民族大规模入疆定居的主要途径是绿营军队驻守、军民屯田及商贩留居,文章以清代乾隆朝史料为依据,力图勾勒出清代中期汉民族进入新疆的主要途径及其人口概况。

The Han Chinese came and settled do^n on a large scale in Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty mainly in the form of military garrisons, land reclamation and business and trading. This paper, with the historical documents in the Qing Dynasty, attempts to out- line the ways the Han Chinese came to settle down in Xinjiang in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.
