On the Spiritual Life of Hami People in the End of the Qing Dynasty

文章以9世回王沙木胡索特袭王位至其逝世(1882—1930)这一时期为阶段,依据史料对哈密人的婚姻家庭、丧葬吊祭、节日庆贺、谚语方言四个方面进行梳理,以凸显其别样的精神生活,为我们考量现今新疆社会生活起到借鉴作用。

This paper will, on the basis of historical documents, display the unique mental life of Hami people by describing their marriages, familial life, funerals, sacrifice, holidays and proverbs during 1882-1930 when the 9th Muslim king Shamhushot came to reign and died. Such an analysis will serve to underline what life is like in Xinjiang.
