串叶松香草产量高、栽培简单，可以直播和育苗移栽，而且粗蛋白含量高，氨基酸种类齐全生可以作为各种畜禽的饲料，在利用方法上可以青饲、青贮发酵、制干草粉等。
Silphium perfoliatum L. has higher yield and crude protain and full composition of amino acid. Its cultivation method is simple, direct seeding or grow seedlings. It may greenfeed, ensilage and make dried grass powder and may use for forages of all kinds of livestocks and birds. So Silphium perfoliatum is worthed to popularize and using.
