摘要
这是一段已尘封的历史,一处甚至被遗忘的文物故址,一个文物保护功德碑、警世牌与文物破坏耻辱柱并存的地方;而这儿最应该成为的,是一方开展和进行爱护文物现场教育的遗址公园。人们有理由期盼这样一个结局:由于一位75年前保护蜀道文物的公路建设先驱奉献出流动的追忆、执着的牵挂、清晰的影像,乃至陪伴、安息于此的拳拳善举,而将它重新激活唤起,因为它曾经是世上最早人工开凿并通行车辆的穿山隧道;曾经庇佑过民族文明存亡之秋故宫文物源源安然南渡幸蜀;曾经保存着东汉至近代约百八十方摩崖石刻;曾经是国务院公布的首批全国重点文物保护单位,曾经完全有可能与万里长城、京杭大运河并称古代工程建筑史上的伟大奇迹而申报世界文化遗产。然而,这一国之重宝却因为四十多年前那场文化浩劫和无知决策失误,无情地被摧残、埋没殆尽……站在充满世事沧桑的历史与时间节点上,今天,如何善待和评价这一处具有两千年历史的古遗址和为保护该古遗址而绕行的近代遗址,既关乎古往今来无数金石学家、书法文字学家乃至土木工程专家尊重传统文化的感情问题;也考验着作为文化传人的后来者们,如何接过前辈递来的薪火——可持续传承文明的历史甚至政治智慧;更关乎我们能否坚持科学发展与推进和谐建设的责任心、使命感及文化自觉性。
75 years ago,a group of pioneers,represented by Zhang Zuozhou who engaged in constructing Sichuan Road participated in the preservation of Sichuan Road Cultural heritage.This road used to be a mountain tunnel which was known as the earliest tunnel throughout the world ever bored by workers to allow vehicles to pass through.Cultural relics from the Palace Museum which blessed our nation's civilization through many critical crisis were transported south to Sichuan safe and sound thanks to this tunnel.The tunnel was inscribed into the list of key national heritage conservation units and once in the same tunnel,nearly a hundred cliff-stone inscriptions were preserved there.However,such national treasury was,unfortunately,ruined as a consequence of ignorant missteps during the Culture Revolution. Standing at the historical point the past and present,we are facing the duty of cultural inheritance and the task of how to treat and evaluate the ancient heritage site with 2000 years' history and the contemporary heritage site which changed its way for the sake of protecting the ancient one properly.How to take over the torch passed down by our predecessors also reflects the fact whether we could insist on the sense of mission,sense of cultural consciences and sense of responsibility of pushing scientific development forward and promoting the harmonious construction.
