从“同年”到“同学”——圣约翰大学校友会与近代中国社会新型人际网络的建构

On the Alumni Association of Saint John's University and Construction of Human Network

校友会是西方教育体制下的产物。由于出自一所学校,在相同的教育背景下成长,很容易在职业选择、价值取向等方面产生强烈的认同,从而开始紧密的联系。1900年创建的圣约翰同学会是近代中国第一个校友会组织,加之20世纪初年科举制废除,从此,同学、校友代替了科举时代的"同年",成为人际关系网络建构的重要依托,这一转变同近代中国社会转型密切相关。

This paper focuses on the Alumni Association of Saint John's University.By studying the structure,operation and the key role the association played in the university development,the paper further discusses how a great social human network is constructed with Alumni association as a medium.It also studies the function,operation and development of alumni associations of modern Chinese universities.
