中国古建筑砖石结构发展缓慢的原因探析

粘土砖在我国已有近3000年的使用历史,可是在期间,砖石结构在我国发展十分缓慢。在我国建筑史上,几千年来,砖一直没能在古建筑中担任主角,原因何在?2000多年来,在我国古建筑中,一直使用干结后既无强度、又无粘结性的黄泥浆作砌砖胶泥;而没有使用国外早就广泛应用的石灰砂浆。由于我国所用砌砖胶泥中缺少起强度作用的"砂"作承重骨架,使砖砌体难以承重,无法作为建筑物的围护墙和承重墙使用,因而影响了砖砌体在建筑中的广泛应用。"砌筑胶泥选用不当"是我国古建筑砖石结构发展缓慢的根本原因。

The basic reason of the brick and masonry Construction developed slowness in our country is that our country did not use the appropriate laying masonry mortar;however some foreign countries already used lime mortar.During more than 2000years,our country has used mortar which lacks the thin aggregate—— sand（sand plays the intensity role in the mortar）.All along the traditional method to use pure clay-wash,which is both no intensity and no cementing power.That causes the masonry has not enough load bearing capacity to be used as building＇s wall.
