Overhaul of the Four Flues in the No.5 Coking Oven of Masteel

马钢股份公司煤焦化公司JN60-82型5#6m焦炉为20世纪80年代末期建成投产的焦炉,因设计、筑炉工艺及耐材质量等存在一些瑕疵,导致焦炉炉况先天不足,未到一代炉龄期,提前早衰:炭化室墙面变形、剥蚀严重、墙体砖碎裂加剧;燃烧室隔墙、盖顶砖上、下部砌体均损坏严重,采用挖补、喷补、抹补等日常修理方式均不能解决。经过3年的检修实践,不断地探索和总结,积累了一些实战经验和技术要领,取得了显著成效,大大延长了5#焦炉的使用寿命。

Some defects in the original design,construction process and refractory quality of the JN60-82 6m coking oven of Masteel＇s Coking Company,which was build in the late 80s of the last century,led to inherent deficiencies of premature aging such as wall deformation,severe peeling,aggravated brick fragmenting.Patching with tearing,spraying or smearing could no longer repair the severely damaged combustion chamber.Some field experiences have been gained after three years of repair practice and a lot of trial and conclusion,bringing obviously better results and significantly prolonging the service life of the coking coven.
