摘要
从认知的角度讨论概念隐喻和英语学习的关系,探讨概念隐喻在英语词汇、句式教学中的应用。强调由于文化传统不同,反映在语言的表达方式上也存在很多差异。深入对比分析英、汉两种语言的文化思维差异,对英语教学和学习都有很多帮助。
From a cognitive point of view, this paper explores the application of conceptual metaphor in teaching English vocabulary and sentence structures. It emphasizes that there are many different ways of expressions because of different cultural traditions. Comparative analysis of English and Chinese cultural differences in thinking will be of great help to English learning and teaching.
