语言是最重要的交际工具,交际总是在特定语境中进行的,只有切合语境的言语交际才是得体的。得体的言语交际才能达到交际的目的,所以得体性原则是语言交际的最高原则。《红楼梦》中的人物都非常善于根据语境选择不同的话语,王熙凤和平儿的言谈是其典型代表。

Language is the most important tool of communication,which is always involved in a certain context.Only verbal communications corresponded with the context are appropriate,which can achieve the aim of communications.Therefore,the principle of appropriateness is the supreme principle of verbal communications.Characters in A Dream of Red Mansions were all quite good at using different utterances according to the context,among which Wang Xifeng and Ping＇er were typical ones.
