《旧唐书》武元衡遇刺时间之勘误

Recording Errors-correcting of the Time When Wu Yuanheng was Assassinated in the Old Book of The Tang Dynasty History

武元衡是唐代后期著名的政治家和诗人,唐宪宗元和(806—820)年间两次出任宰相,在第二次宰相任上为藩镇王承宗、李师道所遣的刺客刺杀。关于武元衡遇刺的时间,《旧唐书》记载有抵牾。以武元衡遇刺的历史背景、遇刺经过及史料记载为考察对象,考证出其遇刺时间为元和十年六月初三,即西历815年7月13日,从而纠正了《旧唐书》所载之误。

Wu Yuanheng was a famous statesman and poet in the late Tang Dynasty.During the years of Yuanhe（806-820）,in the reign of Emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty,he served as prime minister twice and unfortunately he was killed by an assassin appointed by military governors named as Cheng Zong and Li Shidao.As to the exact time when Wu Yuanheng was assassinated,contradiction could be found in the Old Book of the Tang Dynasty History.Through an investigation made on Wu Yuanheng＇s historical background to the assassination, assassination process and historical records,textual research turns out that he was assassinated on the 3rd day of June in the tenth year of Yuanhe,namely on July 13th,815 in the Gregorian calendar,which corrects the error recorded in the Old Book of the Tang Dynasty History.
