A Summarization of Symposium on the Chinese Ancient Chivalrous Novel in 2010

2010年8月在乌鲁木齐举行了全国侠义小说研讨会。会议讨论了侠义复仇与过激行为问题;《水浒传》侠义的多向度以及在其中出现的文侠形象;清代公案小说对《水浒》侠义精神的背逆与"伪侠"的出现;清代的女侠与情侠问题;侠义小说中的"混混儿"是侠义的变形。会议还讨论了三派侠义小说的写法及影视改编问题。

The national seminar on chivalric novels was held in Urumqi on August 2010. The meeting discussed the problem of the chivalric revenge and violent behavior; the multidimension of chivalry of the Water Margin and figures of literary chivalries in it; the violation of chivalrous spirit of the Water Margin from the Qing detective novels and the appearance of ＂pseudo chivalry＂ appeared; the issues of female chivalries and sentimental chivalries in the Qing Dynasty; and the issue that the ＂bully children＂is the deformation of the chivalry. The writing and of the film adaptation of chivalric novels of the three schools were also discussed in the meeting.
