摘要
石油、石化两大集团的重组，为区域优化创造了条件。抚顺石油化工公司分析了进行区域优化的现实条件，认识到不联合、不进行区域优化工作，企业将无法生存。文章介绍了抚顺石油化工公司与吉林化学工业公司之间从1999年初开展此项工作的经验及体会，并希望进一步扩大区域优化的领域、范围。
