Field Test on BEM--6N Oil Flow Improver in Weigang——Jingmen Oil Pipeline

The paper introduces the commercial test of BEM-6N oil flow improver in Weigang-- Jingmen oil pipeline, discusses the reason of influence of shear on the modified effectiveness of crude oil improver. The test results show that the BEM-6N oil flow improver is effective in reducing the oil's viscosity and pour point,and as a result,the operating temperature of the line can be reduced.
