摘要
图形与背景是认知语言学的重要概念。图形即所要描写的对象,是注意的焦点部分;背景是环境,是为突出图形而衬托的部分。笔者以认知语言学中的图形—背景理论为基础,从认知的角度对英汉存现构式进行了分析,探讨了在图形—背景理论下两种语言的相似点和差异性。
Figure-Ground Theory is the key concept in cognitive.Figure is the target of description,the focus of attention;Ground is the background for Figure.The paper puts the stress on a contrast analysis based on the Figure-Ground Theory,aims at the similarities and differences between Chinese and English existential constructions.
