中世纪大学的特色及其启示

A Suggestive Survey of Higher Learning Characteristics in the Middle Age

中世纪大学是欧洲文化的产物,其特色是一致性(整体特色)与差异性(个体特色)的协调与融合,具有自发性、时代性和文化性。我国大学办学特色的创建应:(1)回归并坚持大学的本质属性;(2)客观认识办学特色的意义,充分意识到创建特色的艰巨性;(3)始终围绕学科和教师特色作文章。

The medieval universities, the product of European culture, are characteristic of coordination and combination of integral identity and individual difference, with the nature of spontaneity, relevance and culture. The paper thus suggests that development of China＇s colleges and universities be based on the essence of higher education, a good recognition of typical colleges＇ values and challenges, and the uniqueness of disciplines and teachers.
