摘要
为了解决当环境亮度较暗时平板显示器(FPD)表现低灰度图像信息不够细腻的问题,提出了基于韦伯定律的动态非线性变换算法,构建了基于韦伯定律的动态非线性变换算法模型,给出了算法的实现步骤。把该算法应用在分辨率为640×480的LED显示屏上,在亮度为30 nit的实验室中设置了一组实验,用来验证该算法。实验结果表明,当环境亮度为30 nit时采用动态非线性变换,人眼能识别的最小灰度比采用查表法非线性变换时的最小灰度低2级。
In order to solve the problem that the flat panel display(FPD) can not present the low grayscale of image information finely and smoothly when the ambient brightness is relatively low,a dynamic nonlinear transformation algorithm based on Weber-law was proposed.A corresponding model of dynamic nonlinear transformation was constructed based on Weber-law.The realization steps of the algorithm were illustrated.This algorithm was applied in a LED display panel whose resolution is 640×480,and a group of experiments were carried out in a library whose ambient brightness was 30 nit.Experimental results indicate that when the ambient brightness is 30 nit,the minimum grayscale that human eyes are able to distinguish using dynamic nonlinear transformation is 2 levels lower than that using look-up table nonlinear transformation.
