In this paper we will discuss the application and the implementation of some impotent techniques using in composing web pages with Java, which include the accurate controlling of animation's velocity, the double buffers technique, the image clipping techniqUe, the drag-and-drop technique, the image hotspot technique and the tracing of image download status.
