《传习录》上下卷是王阳明讲学论道的语录体散文。其文学价值主要体现在三个方面:一是完善了古代语录体散文的体式结构;二是注重人物的形象刻画;三是善于用比。《传习录》开创了心学语录体散文的先河,在中国古代散文史上具有独特的地位。

Chuanxi Record （in two volumes） is a collection of quotations in a prose style of Wang Yangming＇s lectures. Its literary value mainly is in the following three aspects： first, it improves the structures of ancient quotations of a prose style; second, it is characteristic of vivid portraying of characters; third, it is good at the usage of comparison. Chuanxi Record creates a new world for idealist quotations in a prose style and has a unique position in the history of ancient prose of China.
