摘要
美国营利性大学发展迅速,迎合市场机制的职业性课程是其发展的核心动力。在课程观上,营利性大学秉承的是实践导向的观念;在课程内容上,开设的是市场需求高但又缺乏市场供应的学位课程;在课程设置上,有灵活的和即时性的课程调整机制;在课程结构上,专业课程占有绝对比例,通识课程比例较小;在课程实施上,注重学生实用技能的培养;在课程评价方面,以专业性认证机构的标准规约课程的质量。
The development of American for-profit institutes is rapid in recent years. The most significant force is the market-oriented vocational courses they adopt. The notion of the vocational courses is practice-oriented. The content of the vocational courses cater for the requirements of market. The structure of vocational courses is composed of large proportion of professional curriculum and small proportion of general curriculum. There is flexible adjustment of the vocational courses driven by effectiveness. The implementation of the vocational courses focuses on the improvement of student's practical skills. The evaluation of vocational courses from the assessment of professional accreditation agencies is emphasized.
