辛集方言两字组连读变调与轻声

Disyllabic tone sandhi and the neutral tone in the Xinji dialect

辛集方言两字组的重音模式有中重、重中、轻声三种,中重式只有前字变调,后字不变调;重中式前字变调同中重式,同时还有后字变调,后字变调不受前字影响,表现为调形的不完整;轻声式后字为轻声,失去了原调,调值由前字决定,同时前字也发生不同于重中式的变调。重中式双音词后字有轻声化的趋势,但是根据连读变调规律的不同,可以区分轻声的不同层次。

There are three accent types of disyllable group in the Xinji dialect: ( 1) the latter- stressed group,in which the first syllable changes its tone; ( 2) the former-stressed group,in which the first syllable changes according to the same rule as the first type and the tone of the second syllable is actually incomplete; ( 3) the group with a neutral tone,in which the first syllable changes its tone in a different way and the tone pitch of the second syllable depends on the first syllable. This paper finds that besides the third group,the former-stressed group also has a tendency of tone-neutralization. It finally provides a way to differentiate the levels of neutral tone in sandhi rules.
