The share price of SINA Corporation(Sina) has been soaring and finally reached a record high at USD75.62 per share since July,2010, almost doubled its price in the past three years. In the past year,Sina miniblog has been growing by leaps and bounds and according to the latest data,its users has exceeded 70 million,becoming the first choice among domestic miniblog products. Cao Guowei,CEO of Sina,said,'Miniblog will help Sina transform from a traditional portal to an open platform,'and called the transformation'Sina's new undertaking'. Sina's rivals have also realized the trend and reengineering traditional businesses has become a consensus among portals. The world's Internet has entered a time of social networking and is using social tools to reform existing businesses.Sina has taken the lead with miniblog in China,but it remains to be seen who will win in the future.
