The full continus csting production had been attained for two and halt yesrs from 8th Dec, 1995 in the second steel plant of Tangshan ton and Steel Company. This paper describes in detail that the point examination and regular overhaul of six continuous castings machines are done well for reducing failure rate, increasing operating time rate and attlaining high and stable production.
