Adult Education and the Scientific Development in the Southern Jiangsu——From the Perspective of Culture

苏南古称吴,是我国灿烂的吴文化和江南文明的发祥地。苏南的科学发展依赖于吴文化的传承与创新,而文化的传承与创新则依赖于教育。成人教育作为教育的一个重要分支,是终身教育体系中不可或缺的重要一环,也具有教育的文化功能。从社会发展和个体发展的需求着眼,苏南的科学发展需要体现成人教育的文化功能。

The Southern Jiangsu,called Wu in the ancient,had been the birthplace of our gorgeos Wu culture and Jiangnan civilization.The scientific developmem of Southern Jiangsu has depended on the inheritance and innovation of Wu culture which depended on the education.Adult education,as one important branch of education and indispensable link in the lifelong education system,has possessed of the culture function of education.It is needed to embody the culture function of adult education for the scientific development of Southern Jiangsu from the vision of both society and people.
