A Chronicle of Arnold Schoenberg’s Life

本文的作者在1989年1期的《黄钟》上发表过一篇编译的《勋伯格年谱与作品目录》,那是根据当时才出版不久的一本书Arnold Schoenberg Letters(欧文.斯坦编辑,1987年版)的有关材料编译的。17年后再读,觉得某些方面仍有不足之处,现趁"勋伯格研讨会"之机,作了一些补充。勋伯格的作品手稿几乎都标明有具体日期,新版本的《年谱》也尽量加进每个事件的发生和每首作品创作(或完稿或首演)的具体日期。希望这样能对有志进一步研究的读者更具参考价值。这份材料几乎函盖了勋伯格编入作品号的所有作品,为避免重复,故略去"作品目录"一项。

The author published A Chronicle of Schoenberg ＇ s Life and His Works List, translated and edited from Arnold Schoenberg Letters （edited by Erwin Stein, 1987） in first issue of Huangzhong in 1989. It showed some kind of inadequacy for reading after seventeen years passed. The arthor made some supplementary during Schoenberg Forum. Almost all of manuscript of Schoenberg works marked the specific date, and the new edition of Chronicle also added the date to every event and composition as far as possible. It would be very helpful to the readers and scholars. It covered almost all of Schoenberg＇s works with opus number, and it canceled the item of Works List for avoidance of repetition.
