Jack London＇s The Call of the Wild and Jiang Rong＇s Wolf Totem are very different in respect of time,space,culture,and language.However,there are some similarities between the two novels from the perspectives of motif,significance,and image,ect.Through analyzing the novels one can find out the ecological significance which will help us further understand the theme implied in the two novels.
