视网膜及其血管改变对心脑血管疾病的预测

The predictive role of the retinal vascular changes for the cardio-cerebrovascular diseases

视网膜血管是人体惟一可在非侵入条件下直接观察到的小血管,而心脑血管疾病主要是以小血管病变为基础的一类威胁人类健康和生命的常见疾病。一个多世纪以来,研究者一直致力于寻找两者之间的内在联系,期望通过眼底检查早期发现甚至预测心脑血管疾病的发生、发展及其转归。本文在回顾相关研究历史的同时,简要列举了现阶段该领域研究中遇到的困惑及挑战,希望在眼科及相关科室的此类研究中引起关注和讨论,共同合作、有所突破。

The retinal vessels are the exclusive visible small vessels with the non-invaded methods. The main pathological changes of the cardio-eerebrovascular diseases are based on the changes of the small vessels. In the past more than one century, ophthalmologists are going in the searching for the internal association between the retinal vascular changes and the eardio-cerebrovascular dieases, according to which researchers can diagnosis early, even predict the incidence, development, and prognosis of the systemic caidio-cerebrovascular diseases. This article reviewed the research history on the predictive role of the retinal vascular changes for the cardio-cerebrovascular diseases and brought out the stumbles and challenges in the current studies to initate some concerns and discus-sions. The collaborates between ophthalmology and other relative departments were necessary to get some breakthroughs.
