胚胎干细胞相关的MicroRNA研究进展

The Function of MicroRNA in Embryonic Stem Cells

摘要 MicroRNA是一系列高度保守的长度约为22个核苷酸的非编码小分子RNA。这类小分子通过促进mRNA降解或抑制蛋白翻译来调节目的基因的表达。研究表明,MicroRNA在胚胎干细胞中起着重要的调节作用。本文主要阐述MicroRNA在胚胎干细胞干性维持和分化中的调控作用及其机制,就胚胎干细胞相关的MicroRNA研究新进展予以综述和讨论。 MicroRNAs are highly conserved and non-coding small RNAs mainly with 22- nucleotide in length,which regulate gene expression at post-transcriptional levels.MicroRNAs inhibit gene expression either through blocking translation or by promoting degradation of mRNAs.Recent studies suggest that MicroRNAs play important roles in self-renewal and pluripotency of embryonic stem cells.Here we review recent advancement in MicroRNA studies with a focus on the function of MicroRNAs in embryonic stem cells.
