摘要
城市是人类社会发展到一定历史阶段的产物,是一定区域内的政治、经济、文化的中心,是社会创造物质财富和精神财富的重要基地,对国家或地区的经济与社会发展起着重要的作用。作为最早对外开放的十四个沿海城市之一的烟台,在近代城市兴起中,伴随着因地而漕,因漕而贸,因贸而市,因市而业,以业拓市的成长过程,经历了由盛而衰的演变。探寻近代烟台城市兴起的历史轨迹,厘清由盛而衰的原因,能为现代烟台城市化发展并最终步入大都市行列,提供合理的现实指向。
City is the product in certain historical stage of the long social history for human beings,is the center of politics,economy and culture in certain area,is the essential base for creating material wealth and spiritual wealth,and it plays an important role in the development of economy and society in a county or district.As one of the earliest opening sea side cities of 14,Yantai has experienced an evolution from ups and downs with the growing-up procedure for its superior geographical position in shipment,in trade,in business,and in the width of the city.We can offer reasonable reality prompt for the city of modern Yantai as one of the metropolises by seeking for the historical trace of upsurge,by analyzing the cause of ups and downs.
