Dams play an important role in the development of human civilization.They can be used to reserve water,to prevent flood and to generate power.Dams bring more convenience to humans,but also have some negative effects.Therefore,quite a few people have been strongly against the building of the dams.This paper is intended to make an analysis of their positive and negative effects in several aspects.
