Chinese rhetoric art is a creative psychic practice.In this process,we should pay attention to the correct construction and explanation of ＂The distance＂.＂The distance＂,is originally a terminology commonly used in Chinese and foreign esthetics,literature and art theory.The author introduces it into Chinese rhetoric art at the first time,for the purpose of enriching Chinese rhetoric art theory system,and providing help for the scientific construction and explanation of Chinese rhetoric art,which is a previously new exploration and attempt in Chinese rhetoric art study history.This article explains its connotation correctly,and at the same time,carrys on a bold explanation from the extension,namely the space and time distance,the psychic distance,the logic distance and the emotion distance.The author believes that ＂The distance＂ is,in Chinese rhetoric art,an indispensably important concept,and its soul as well.＂The distance＂ has ubiquitous utilization in Chinese rhetoric art,so one must grasp the exact degree when using it.
