The consumption, growth rate and structure of products for the global four flame retardant markets （United states, Europe, Japan, Other Asia） were reviewed and analyzed. The consumption and total sales of FR world-wide in 2008~2014 were predicted. In addition, the prospects of BFR and OPFR are discussed.
