摘要 目的克服用规则格网DEM数据表达多分辨率地形时,数据存储的不连续性和数据冗余。方法以二叉树结构表示多分辨率地形模型,分别用二进制位串和一维数组来存储二叉树结构和格网顶点高程值。结果实现了多分辨率DEM数据的连续存储,并减少了数据存储量。结论研究方法是压缩存储多分辨率地形的一个非常有效的方法。 Aim To overcome the incontinuity and redundancy in data storage caused by the regular grids in representing the multi-resolution terrain.Methods Binary tree is used to represent the multi-resolution terrain model.The structure of binary tree is stored using a bit code of the underlying binary tree and the height data are stored in an array.Results This method realizes the continuous storage of multi-resolution digital elevation model(DEM) data and reduces the volume in data storage.Conclusion This is a good way to represent and compress the multi-resolution terrain model.
