运用语用学原则分析文学作品的可行性研究——以简·奥斯丁的小说《爱玛》中的人物对话为例

Feasibility Study on Pragmatic Principles Application in the Analysis of Literary Works——A Case Study of the Dialogues in Jane Austin's Novel Emma

运用语用学中的合作原则与会话含义、礼貌原则以及面子理论,以英国作家简.奥斯丁的小说《爱玛》中的部分典型人物对话为例,可以剖析其中丰富的的会话含义,分析人物有意违背合作原则的原因,从而为读者展现人物性格。语用学理论运用于文学作品分析具有可行性。

This paper analysizes the dialogues of the novel Emma by British writer Jane Austen through the application of the implicature of cooperative principle, politeness principle and face theory. Furthermore, the rich implicature they reflect and the reason why the figures in the novel intentionally violate the cooperative principle are explored, thereby presents the characters of the figures for readers and expounds the feasibility of analvsing literary works on the basis of pragmatic theories.
