多新翅类是一类低等新翅类昆虫的集合。包括直翅目Orthoptera、竹节虫目Phasmatodea、襀翅目Plecoptera、纺足目Embioptera、蛩蠊目Grylloblattodea、革翅目Dermaptera、螳螂目Mantodea、螳虫脩目Mantophasmatodea、等翅目Isoptera、蜚蠊目Blattaria和缺翅目Zoraptera 11个目。由于形态学上的多样性,这些昆虫之间的系统发育关系仍不清楚。本文综述了近年来多新翅类昆虫目间以及目级以下各类群间的分子系统学研究进展。
Polyneoptera is the name sometimes applied to an assemblage of 11 orders comprising the lower neopterous or "orthopteroid" insects,which include Orthoptera,Blattaria,Isoptera,Mantodea,Dermaptera,Phasmatodea,Mantophasmatodea,and Plecoptera,as well as the more obscure,Embiidina,Zoraptera and Grylloblattodea.Many of these insect orders exhibit a high degree of morphological diversity that has led to multiple phylogenetic hypotheses and little consensus among investigators.The paper gives a general review of the recent advances in molecular systematics of Polyneoptera,especially concentrated on the relationships among the Polyneopteran orders and within each Order.
