Estimation of Cross Combination Effect in Beef Cattle Using individual Animal Model

本研究利用个体动物模型估计了１８个肉牛杂交组合６月龄体重性状的组合效应，其结果准确反映了３个区县杂交组合的优劣：在丰宁－隆化县和抚宁县均以利木赞、海伏特为父本的组合为最优；在赞皇县以安格斯、利木赞为父本的组合为最优。

The effects of 18 cross combinations on 180 day weight of beef cattle were evaluatedby the method of individual animal model BLU P. The model used included fixed environmenteffect, cross combination effects, animal effect, and maternal effect. The results showed that thecombinations with Limousin and Hereford as paternal parent were better than others in. Fengningand Funing regions; the combinations with Angus and Limousin as paternal parent were betterthan others in Zanhuang regions.
