摘要
基于考虑偏振态的耦合非线性薛定谔方程,采用分步傅立叶法分析了控制光与信号光偏振失配对双耦合器非线性光纤环境(NOLM)微波光子开关性能的影响.研究表明,偏振失配造成NOLM输出信号强度波动,严重影响NOLM性能,尤其是在大调制带宽时NOLM对偏振失配极为敏感.偏振失配造成NOLM输出眼图和信噪比急剧恶化并导致较大的强度波动.
The impact of the polarization dismatch between the control light and the signal light on the NOLM microwave photonic switch with two couplers was simulated by the split-step Fourier method(SSFM) that can solve the coupled nonlinear Schrdinger equation(CNLSE) including the polarization effect.It is obtained by simulation that the intensity fluctuation of the output signal is induced by the polarization dismatch.NOLM is very sensitive to the polarization dismatch especially in the case of large modulation bandwidth.The eye graphs and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of the NOLM output are deteriorated and the intensity fluctuation is aggravated by the polarization dismatch.
