Orienteering has a unique worth of education and a unique role in developing one＇s moral quality;it can help students to enhance their awareness of environmental protection and to make friends with others through the exercises.It is easy to be promoted.In order to realize the orienteering well in teaching,some preliminary work must be made： working out the teaching plan,the special equipment,developing the students＇ intereat,and the guarantee of security.Some measures should be taken such as helping the students to understand the significance of orientecing and to participate it actively and happily,and strengthening construction of the special teams of teachers and students,so as to raise the level of the sport by means of competition.
