新建本科院校由于本科办学时间短,大学英语教学中仍存在很多问题和困难,并制约着大学英语教学质量的提高。文章着重探索新建本科院校大学英语教学中普遍存在的问题和困难,并提出了解决思路。

The newly-founded universities commonly have problems and difficulties in college English teaching for the short time of undergraduate education.Those problems and difficulties restrict the improvement of English teaching quality.The paper mainly discusses the English teaching problems and difficulties commonly existing in the newly-founded universities and puts forward the strategies of solving those problems.
