摘要
从纳米摩擦学角度考察了车辆齿轮油的四球机测定结果,发现最大无卡咬负荷P_B和烧结负荷P_D值不能很好地代表承载能力,阐明了由这两个指标难于预测车辆齿轮油承载能力的原因是:(1)钢球材质与实际摩擦副的不同;(2)钢球的接触方式是点接触,而齿轮是线接触;首次提出一套利用四球机测试估算车辆齿轮油承载能力的方法,指出在实际选择齿轮油时可根据齿轮的啮合压力来确定油品在四球机试验中应达到的比压力(specific pressure at contact surfaces)。
from nano-tribology the theoretical meanings of performances of automobile gear oils under four ball test have been investigated. It indicates that the maximum non - seizure load PB and weld load PD can not express the load - bearing capacity of lubricants well due to (1) the material of the steel balls is different from that of practical friction pairs of gears, (2) the contact pattern of steel ball is spot and the practical gear is of line respectively. A set of method for estimating the load carrying capacity of automobile gear through four ball machine has been put forward for die first time, according to meshing pressure of gears needed in practically selecting lubricants the specific pressure at contact surface of the steel ball under four ball tester could be decided.
