摘要
认知语言学研究范式对翻译研究的突出贡献在于将翻译看作概念映射和范畴重构的过程,而非简单的语码转换。本研究通过基于语料库的汉英"酸"和sour用例对比发现,除了文献基于选择性的典型隐喻表达提出的概念和范畴映射问题,语言规约性差异也是隐喻拓展差异形成的主要因素。以此为依据,本文提出了译文功能对等原则关照下的常规隐喻投射路径显性和隐性处理方式。
Translation is viewed as a process of re-categorization and concept mapping rather than code-switching from the Cognitive Linguistic paradigm. A comparative corpus-based study of Chinese-English equivalent words "suan" and "sour" finds that linguistic conventions as well as concepts and category mapping play crucial roles in the translation of conventional meta- phors. Accordingly, implicit and explicit translation strategies of concept mapping routes are proposed for equivalent functions.
