概念模型的信息系统用户沟通有效性实验室研究

Experimental Study of the Effect of Conceptual Models in Communicating with IS Users

摘要 对需求描述工具——概念模型在信息系统开发中与用户的沟通效果问题进行研究。基于认知理论分析,得出概念模型的信息组织结构特征会影响用户理解模型的认知过程,同时根据语义网络理论将用户理解划分为简单理解和复杂理解两个层次。实验室研究结果表明,与面向过程的概念模型相比,面向对象的概念模型在整体上更利于用户理解需求,主要体现在复杂层次的理解上。 How conceptual models communicating system requirements with end-users is examined in this paper. Based on cognitive theories, it is proposed that how conceptual models structure the information has an impact on users' cognitive process. And the se- mantic network theory is employed to divide users' understanding into two levels of simple and complex. The results of the experimen- tal study show that Object-oriented models work significantly better for users understanding than Process-oriented models, especially in complex understanding.
