对几种低比例的甲醇汽油的蒸发性进行了试验研究,结果表明,低比例甲醇汽油的蒸发性提高了,发动机的起动性、加速性和稳定性等均优于普通商用汽油,但是在使用中发生气阻的倾向性增大;甲醇汽油蒸发性增大的原因是甲醇和汽油中的某些组分形成了低沸点的共沸物。

The research of evaporation on several low proportion methanol - gasoline blends was carried on experimental. The results showed that low proportion methanol - gasoline was much higher than that of base gasoline used to prepare it. Engine starting, acceleration and stability were better than ordinary commercial gasoline. However, the chance of vapor lock to take place was much greater when methanol - gasoline is adopted. The reason for methanol - gasoline to have greater evaporation tendency was that methanol could form azeotrope with certain components of gasoline, which had lower boiling point.
