Operation of Utilizing World Bank Loan to Improve Rural Maternity and Child Hygiene Service

介绍云南省开远市利用世行贷款改善农村妇幼卫生服务的情况。由于政府重视，建立组织机构，培训妇幼卫生人员，以市妇幼保健院为重点加强妇幼卫生网络建设，强化项目监督管理，全面开展妇幼卫生服务。结果是有效地改善了农村妇幼卫生服务状况，提高了服务质量，降低了孕产妇死亡率和婴儿死亡率。

he author introduces the operation of utilizing World Bank loan to improve rural maternity and child hygiene service in Kaiyuan city, Yunnan Province. As result of governments recognition, organizations establishing, personnels training, network buildings strengthening, project supervision managements enhancing, services providing, maternity and child hygiene services is improved, the quality service is increased, the mortality of infant and maternity is decreased, and health status of women and children in rural area is increased.
